Thank you for your support these past 9 years Delmarva! "Beat the Beast" for the 9th year, will be taking the year off - In Memory of Chris Palmer. A note from Jenny Palmer, Founder of Romance for a Cure: "This year, in honor and memory of Chris, my husband and Marshall's dad - Marshall and I have planned a date for Valentine’s Day. Every year of his 9 year old life, we have been happily exhausted on Valentine’s Day. Romance for a Cure has been a part of our lives for that long. This year, we will be taking a 1 year break, and instead will be eating sushi on our special “date”. Marsh has even promised to get dressed up for me. R.F.A.C. will be back in business in 2013 I am sure there will be a Chris Palmer Crab Feast in our plans for 2012. Our quest for a Cure is far from over – we will never quit, but for this year, my little man and I are going to spend Valentine's Day together. In April, Chris' sister Debbie Wessels, will be dancing in our local Dancing with the Delmarva Stars - a fundraiser for the Cancer Community Network.
